The initiative, announced by Sérgio Costa, the Mayor of Guarda, is expected to generate approximately 160 jobs. The company, Aho Foods, operates seven factories in São Paulo and employs around 1,000 people. They have a proven track record, boasting a turnover of around 40 million euros in 2023 and supplying renowned international brands.

Mayor Costa emphasized the importance of this investment for Guarda's economy, stating, "This is a great Christmas gift from this executive to Guarda because we committed ourselves to make this deal happen and now we hope it can become a reality in the near future." He further noted that the project is already in development and will require several million dollars for its execution.
