CDS/Algarve Supports Bacalhau's Decision to Stay in Office

The CDS/Algarve has expressed its agreement with Rogério Bacalhau's decision to continue leading the Faro City Council rather than moving to Águas do Algarve. This decision reflects his respect for the trust placed in him by the citizens of Faro.

In a statement, Rodrigo Borges de Freitas, president of the CDS District, has shown his full support for Bacalhau. The centrists are part of the broad coalition that elected the Faro mayor, with Adriano Guerra serving as a councilor with specific responsibilities.

"Over the years, Rogério Bacalhau has demonstrated his experience as a mayor, showcasing strategic vision and execution capability. His continued leadership will ensure the ongoing improvement of life quality for Faro residents," stated CDS/Algarve.

The organization emphasized the importance of responsibility in politics, asserting that Bacalhau's retention is the best choice for Faro. They believe this is a moment for unity and cooperation among all forces aiming for a stronger, more dynamic municipality prepared for the future.

"We are ready to continue working for the betterment of Faro, alongside those who prioritize the interests of Faro residents above personal or situational ambitions," they concluded.
