Normal's Expansion in Portugal

The Danish retail chain Normal continues its rapid expansion in Portugal, announcing its third store opening this month. Just days after arriving in Torres Novas and with plans to open another store in Paços de Ferreira next week, Normal will officially open its doors in Tavira on November 19.

With this new opening, Normal will have a total of 30 stores across Portugal, including three in the Algarve region. Since its entry into the market in 2022 with its first store in Alegro Sintra, the company has maintained a steady growth trajectory, establishing locations throughout the country. Currently, it has stores in Loulé and Portimão in the Algarve, alongside outlets in major cities such as Porto, Lisbon, Braga, Vila Real, Viseu, Coimbra, and Setúbal.

Normal's expansion plans in Portugal also include the opening of a fifth store in Lisbon this winter on Rua do Ouro, as well as new locations in Aveiro and Leiria, as indicated on their official website.

Founded in Denmark in 2013, Normal currently operates over 800 stores in its home market and across Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, Finland, Portugal, and Spain.
