Lisbon's Streets Come Alive with Festivities

Lisbon's gardens and squares are set to transform into vibrant stages for the Festas na Rua, starting from September 7th to 29th. This city-wide celebration promises a plethora of outdoor performances, including concerts, dance, and various art forms ranging from magic to cinema.

Highlights of the Festas na Rua

This year's festival features a diverse cultural calendar that caters to all tastes. Notable events include:

• Gulbenkian Choir and Orchestra Concert on September 7th at 21:30 in Vale do Silêncio, showcasing choral and symphonic works.
• Rui Massena Concert on September 14th at 19:00 at Praça do Município, featuring a solo performance with special guests.
• Jazz Orchestra Performance with Cristina Branco and Mário Laginha on September 12th at 19:00 in Jardim da Quinta da Alfarrobeira.

Lisbon will also host other exciting events:

• XVI International Mask Parade on September 21st at 16:30, featuring over 450 participants from various regions.
• Cinema Nights on September 13, 14, 20, and 21 at Lavadouros do Pátio do Moca and Lumiar.
