This festival aims to honor not only this traditional instrument but also the legacy of Carlos Paredes (1925-2004), coinciding with the centenary of his birth. The musical festivities will unfold across five venues in Lisbon, including the three halls of Cinema São Jorge and the stages of Teatro Capitólio and Teatro Variedades.
The program includes a variety of activities such as concerts, social gatherings, and more, featuring renowned artists like Pedro Caldeira Cabral and José Manuel Neto. Attendees can also look forward to lectures, documentary screenings, and a workshop dedicated to the iconic instrument.
At the end of each day, the festival will host a social event and autograph session. For more details and to check the complete program, visit here.
