Artists and filmmakers Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine have embarked on a fascinating journey to study the inhabitants of Lisbon through their latest documentary, 'Homo Urbanus Lisboetus'. This film is part of a larger project exploring cities as ecosystems that shape the unique species they call Homo Urbanus.
Exhibition at MAC/CCB Since October, the MAC/CCB has been hosting an exhibition by Bêka & Lemoine, showcasing their exploration of urban life. The documentary will be screened as part of this exhibition, highlighting the daily lives and idiosyncrasies of those living in Portugal's capital. The film will air on RTP2 at 20:40 and will be shown at the CCB at 19:00, with free admission, although tickets must be collected from 17:00.
Upcoming Cinema Cycle The exhibition runs until April 6, and this month, a film cycle in partnership with the Cinemateca Portuguesa will feature three films focusing on urban life in cities like Tokyo, Bangkok, and Mumbai.
