The Blue & Green Hotels & Resorts, owned by Oxy Capital, is on a recruitment drive, offering 400 job vacancies across various regions in Portugal, from Vila Nova de Gaia to the Algarve. These opportunities span diverse roles including kitchen staff, receptionists, and positions in golf and casinos.

In Vila Nova de Gaia, there are 27 openings at the former The Lodge Hotel, now known as the Forte de Gaia – Autograph Collection. The Algarve region boasts 150 vacancies at the Vilalara Grand Hotel in Porches, while the Verdelago Resort in Castro Marim has 85 positions available.

In the West region, the Praia D’El Rey Marriott in Óbidos is offering 95 positions, and the Golf Course Praia D’El Rey has 3 roles open. In Troia, the Troia Design Hotel is looking to hire 45 employees, and the Casino Troia has 15 openings.

The available positions include roles such as housekeeper, kitchen staff, waitstaff, bartenders, receptionists, caddies (golf), and casino cashiers. The group is specifically seeking candidates who are fluent in Portuguese and English, possess a neat appearance, and have strong communication skills.

Application Process

Interested candidates can apply online, but recruitment will be conducted in-person during open days at the hotels. The first open day is set for February 24 at the Marriott Praia D’El Rey in Óbidos, followed by the Troia Design Hotel on February 25, the Verdelago Resort on February 26, and concluding at the Vilalara Grand Hotel on February 27. Even those who do not register in advance are welcome to attend between 11 AM and 5 PM on these dates.
