The construction is expected to take place between 2025 and 2026, with the hotel opening scheduled for 2027. This ambitious project involves an investment of 158 million euros, as announced by the local council.

Developed by BodyHoliday, a leader in the Wellness and Spa tourism sector, the hotel will feature 220 accommodation units, including:

  • 40 single rooms
  • 160 double rooms
  • 20 suites

The hotel will boast five restaurants and a wellness center with over 50 massage and treatment rooms. Additional amenities include a gym, an indoor pool, three outdoor pools, and beautifully landscaped gardens with direct access to the beach via wooden walkways.

According to Álvaro Araújo, the mayor, this investment will significantly change the tourism paradigm in Vila Real de Santo António, enhancing the quality of offerings and attracting visitors from luxury segments. Vice Mayor Ricardo Cipriano emphasized that the project aims to diversify and upgrade the local tourism offerings, reducing seasonality and extending the average length of stay.
