Action Expands to Lisbon

Action, the popular discount store known for its unbeatable prices, is officially opening its first location in Lisbon. This new store will be located in Alverca at Salinas Park, and it’s set to open its doors on Thursday, December 12th, at 9 AM. Action has already established a strong presence in Portugal with seven stores across the country since its arrival less than a year ago, making this expansion a significant milestone for Lisbon shoppers eager for budget-friendly options.

Simultaneously, another store will open in Penafiel, located in the Porto district at the city's Retail Park. This expansion will bring Action's total number of stores in Portugal to nine within a year.

Sofia Mendonça, the General Director of Action in Portugal, expressed her enthusiasm: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our first store in the Lisbon district and the eighth in Portugal. With these new stores, we continue to strengthen our presence in the country as more and more Portuguese want to experience the unique Action shopping experience.”

Both the Alverca and Penafiel stores will operate from 9 AM to 9 PM and 10 AM to 9 PM respectively, every day of the week. Action promises to maintain its commitment to low prices.

Highlights of the new store include:

• At least 1500 products priced under €1
• 14 different product categories
• 150 new products introduced every week

Customers can explore categories including garden, office supplies, cleaning, home, personal care, hobbies, and pet supplies. The average price of products at Action is notably low, with many items priced below €2.
