INPI Approves 'Savor the ALGARVE' Brand
The National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) has officially approved the brand 'Savor the ALGARVE' in the last quarter of the year. This brand is owned by the Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR) of the Algarve.
According to Revitalgarve, the brand aims to:
- Unify under a global image the highest quality food products that represent the Mediterranean Diet of the Algarve, based on the Local Producers Network of Algarve (RPLA).
- Promote the consumption of products linked to the brand, enhancing their quality and authenticity to boost adherence to the Mediterranean Diet.
- Increase the value of the agri-food sector in the region, contributing to local economic dynamization, job creation, and greater adherence to the Mediterranean Diet.
Additionally, the Revitalgarve initiative plans to create a website and launch a promotional campaign for the 'Savor the ALGARVE' brand, aimed at showcasing local producers and their products. The implementation of these initiatives is expected to take place this year.
