A unique opportunity has arisen in Lisbon, as Turismo de Lisboa has announced a competition for a restaurant in one of the city's most stunning locations. The site, located at the Centro Interpretativo Os Murais de Almada in the Alcântara Maritime Terminals, will open to the public in February 2025 and features the remarkable murals by Almada Negreiros.
This interpretative center, housing the largest collection of 20th-century mural painting, aims to establish a new touristic and cultural hub along the western riverside of Lisbon, connecting the Rocha do Conde de Óbidos and Alcântara maritime terminals.
Interested parties must submit proposals that adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Terms of Reference, which can be requested via email at mamorim@visitlisboa.com and secde@visitlisboa.com. The deadline for proposal submissions is September 30, 2024, and they must be sent electronically.
