The 2025 G4D Season Kicks Off

The 2025 G4D season begins on January 11 with the All Abilities Challenge Series in Wellington, New Zealand, followed by the first European tournament at Pestana Vale da Pinta, Portugal on January 13.

Inclusive and Competitive Events

These opening events highlight the competitive, inclusive, and global nature of EDGA-approved tournaments. The ‘EDGA Tour Portugal Swing’ will feature a second tournament on January 17 at Pestana Gramacho, attracting over 60 players from 19 nations, including competitors from Japan, Canada, Australia, and 16 European countries.

Strong Competitors

The tournament will showcase top competitors, including Daphne van Houten, a leading female 'Gross' player from the Netherlands, and Rasmus Lia, a previous winner of the G4D Tour Finale in Dubai. Participants can compete in three divisions: Gross, Net, and Stableford, ensuring inclusivity for golfers with various disabilities.

Networking and Development Opportunities

The Portugal Swing is not only popular for its warm climate but also serves as a platform for national teams to assess their players' early-season performance. Workshops will be held for federation representatives to discuss the future of G4D and network with colleagues.
