Free Classical Music Concerts in Lisbon

The Música no Termo festival returns to Lisbon for its fifth edition, running from September 27 to October 27. This free event is dedicated to classical music and features six concerts held outside the city center, taking place every weekend.

Concert Schedule

  • September 27: The opening concert will be held at Palácio Fronteira in São Domingos de Benfica, themed “Creation and Creativity in the Feminine.”
  • October 5 and 11: The event will shift to the Jardim de Inverno at Palácio dos Lilases, with highlights on “Augusto Machado: a Gem of the Generation of 70” and “Inquiries of a Belle Époque.”
  • October 19: The National Museum of Theatre and Dance will explore the life and works of Joly Braga Santos.
  • October 26-27: The closing performance features Fauré's iconic Requiem and the Coro Santo Inácio Loyola at the Colégio São João de Brito in Lumiar.

The festival aims to provide a rich and diverse experience for music lovers while highlighting the cultural and museological heritage of the northern part of the city, as stated by the organizers.
