New Year Celebration in Portimão

Portimão is all set to bid farewell to 2024 and welcome the New Year with an exciting three-day program from December 29 to 31. The festivities will culminate in a concert featuring the renowned Martinho da Vila.

Martinho da Vila Concert

The musical events will take place along the riverside area of Portimão, starting from 10 PM to 1:30 AM each night. On the first night, expect electrifying performances by Rebel Kidz Crew and Mizzy Miles, a prominent figure in the hip-hop and urban music scene.

The second night will feature the thrilling show Revenge of the 90’s, with performances from Melão and Batatinha & Companhia.

As we transition into the New Year, the night will be highlighted by the talents of DJ Nikky and MC Luís Marvão, leading up to the much-anticipated concert by Martinho da Vila. With over 30 years of career, he is a key name in Brazilian music, known for hits like “Canta, canta minha gente”, “Devagar, devagarinho”, “Casa Bamba”, and “Mulheres”.

As tradition dictates, the fireworks display will commence at midnight on January 1, visible from the riverside areas of Portimão, Alvor, and the Praia da Rocha pier, featuring a spectacular pyromusical show.

Don’t miss out on this vibrant celebration!
