Upcoming Conference in Lisbon

Around 50 specialists will gather next Tuesday in Lisbon at the Portuguese Association for the Development of Communications (APDC) to analyze and discuss critical issues related to competitive intelligence and the war of information.

Promoted by the CIIWA (Competitive Intelligence & Information Warfare Association), a non-profit organization aiming to foster an international community focused on technological advancements, business models, and new processes, this conference will host experts from institutional entities, academia, and various companies.

The CIIWA, chaired by Bruno Marques, a professor and consultant, emphasizes its mission to develop a network of knowledge among entities, specialists, and enthusiasts in the fields of competitive intelligence and information warfare, which includes the topic of information systems security.

Key Topics for Discussion

Starting at 18:00, the conference will cover:

  • The technology “DeepFace Voice”
  • The relationship between digital media, cybersecurity, and youth (from primary to secondary education)
  • The future of skills in the information security ecosystem
  • The future of competitive intelligence

Additionally, the CIIWA aims to celebrate its anniversary with community members and publicly recognize associates who have contributed to its mission.

Founded in 2007, the CIIWA originated from an initiative by students of a postgraduate course in information warfare and competitive intelligence at the Military Academy.
