These groups aim to generate synergies and facilitate collaboration among entities to prepare applications for funding programs based on the maturity of identified projects.
Upcoming Meetings
The working groups are scheduled to meet again on November 10, and another advisory council meeting is planned in São Bartolomeu de Messines (Silves) to discuss actions prioritized for funding applications based on their maturity and to establish guidelines for future funding calls.
Broad Representation
The advisory council, formalized on October 9 in Ourique, comprises a wide array of organizations, including the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA), Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF), three intermunicipal communities, and local development associations. Its mission is to stimulate joint projects, create synergies, and support the execution of the action plan in alignment with best practices and applicable environmental policies.
