According to the Lisbon Metropolitan Command, the police received an alert about a disturbance involving sharp weapons at 12:15 PM. However, the police have not confirmed whether all involved were students of the school and stated that no arrests or weapon seizures were made.

Casualties and Response

Upon arrival, police found many people conversing with school staff outside the premises. They reported five individuals with light injuries, one of whom sustained cuts from a broken window. This victim, who suffered hand injuries, was taken to Hospital Dona Estefânia accompanied by their mother.

Family Reaction

Following the altercation among the youths, which the police could not specify as occurring inside or outside the school, witnesses reported that about ten family members attempted to invade the school premises. Despite the events transpiring in the late morning, police remained on-site around 3:20 PM to manage the situation.
