A Brave Intervention
In the early hours of Saturday morning, a man was stabbed three times on Rua de Campolide, Lisbon, while trying to save a passerby from a robbery by four assailants.
At approximately 7:20 AM, the victim noticed four men surrounding another individual, who was being threatened with a knife in an attempt to steal his personal belongings. The brave intervenor stepped in to help, resulting in him receiving a stab wound to his back, another to his buttock, and one to his hand.
The assailants fled the scene, leaving the victim bleeding on the ground. Emergency services, including the PSP (Public Security Police) and INEM (National Institute of Medical Emergency), were called to the scene. The injured man required stabilization before being transported to Hospital de Santa Maria for further treatment.
The PSP is currently working to identify and apprehend the suspects involved in this violent incident.
