Major Changes at Manchester Airport for TAP Air Portugal Passengers

This change follows the airport's ongoing transition, which has already seen several airlines, including Austrian, Lufthansa, and Swiss, move to the newly revamped Terminal 2. The airport has made the announcement via a post on X, urging passengers to stay informed about their flights and to adjust any lounge or parking bookings accordingly.

Additional Airlines Moving to Terminal 2

The following airlines are also scheduled to relocate to Terminal 2:

  • Biman Bangladesh on November 5
  • Jet2 on November 6
  • Iberia Express and Vueling on November 7
  • Egyptair and SunExpress on November 12
  • Royal Jordanian on November 13

With the completion of this transformation, Terminal 2 is set to become the central hub of Manchester Airport, hosting 22 new retail, bar, and restaurant units by next summer, including popular brands like Wetherspoons and Greggs. A 472-seater food hall, the Great Northern Market, will also be introduced, featuring a variety of international street food options.

Passengers flying out of Terminal 2 can expect a modernized travel experience as the airport aims to enhance its service and facilities.
