Major Investment in Lisbon's New Airport

The new airport in Lisbon is projected to cost €8.5 billion, according to estimates from ANA Aeroportos. This information was revealed in an initial report sent to the government, which was accessed by Correio da Manhã.

ANA plans to fully fund the structure located in Alcochete, but it seeks certain concessions in return. They are aiming for a 30-year extension of the concession to the Vinci Group to facilitate the amortization of their investment. Additionally, there will be a progressive annual increase in airport fees at Humberto Delgado Airport, targeting a revenue of €23.37 per passenger by 2030, up from the current €14.63, with future adjustments based on inflation.
