Major Drug Seizure by Judiciary Police

The Judiciary Police (PJ) have made a significant drug bust, seizing approximately 3.5 tons of cocaine that was smuggled into Portugal. The drugs were cleverly concealed within pallets of banana boxes on a cargo ship that routinely operates between Latin America and Europe.

This operation, conducted by the PJ's National Unit to Combat Drug Trafficking, successfully located and confiscated 3,458 tons of cocaine. The authorities revealed that the narcotics were intended for distribution across several European countries.
