Orange Alert for Maritime Turbulence

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has issued an orange alert for seven districts on the mainland due to forecasts of strong maritime agitation this Friday, starting from 12:00 PM.

The affected districts include Porto, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Aveiro, Coimbra, and Braga. The IPMA predicts waves from the west/northwest measuring five to six meters, with maximum heights potentially reaching ten meters.
