In a spectacular gala held in Funchal, Portugal celebrated its remarkable achievements at the World Travel Awards, securing 19 prestigious distinctions. This event follows the World Golf Awards where Portugal was recognized as the Best Golf Destination in the World for the third consecutive year.
Portugal's accolades were spread across various regions, with notable recognitions for Lisboa, Porto, Algarve, Madeira, and the Açores. Additionally, the city of Braga received the title of Emerging Destination for the second year in a row.
