Weather Alert in Portugal
The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) has extended a yellow warning for several districts due to expected heavy showers and thunderstorms. This alert is now in effect until 9 PM today.
Affected Areas
The warning applies to the following districts:
- Aveiro
- Braga
- Porto
- Viana do Castelo
- Bragança
- Vila Real
- Viseu
The institute warns of potential runoff in areas affected by recent wildfires.
