TAP Connects Algarve and Madeira with New Flights
TAP is set to directly connect the Algarve and Madeira with two flights per week, starting from June 2 until September 11.
The flight schedule is as follows:
- Mondays: Departing from Funchal to Faro at 20:50 and returning from Faro to Funchal at 23:15.
- Thursdays: Departing from Funchal at 6:10 and from Faro at 8:35.
The flights will be operated using E190 aircraft with a capacity of 106 seats. TAP has announced a total of 30 frequencies, offering 3,180 seats in each direction.
This new route aims to connect two of Portugal's most important tourist regions, enhancing mobility for both locals and tourists alike. According to TAP, a round trip in August will cost approximately 240 euros per passenger.
