The Lisbon Region is the perfect destination for celebrating New Year's Eve with style, fun, and unforgettable moments. If you don't have plans for the last night of 2024 yet, the Regional Tourism Entity of Lisbon has prepared a selection of free programs to end the year spectacularly, filled with music, entertainment, and, of course, stunning fireworks!
Highlights of the Celebrations
Mafra will shine on New Year's Eve with an incredible fireworks display visible from 11 spots in the municipality, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the magic of the illuminated sky. It’s a true feast for the eyes, where tradition and emotion come together in every parish.
Cascais promises to be the center of innovation with the largest drone show in the country! For 10 minutes, 300 drones will fly over Cascais Bay, creating a unique visual spectacle with messages and images of local landmarks. And, of course, at midnight, the sky will once again be filled with spectacular fireworks!
On the south bank, the New Year's party will also be epic. In Almada, Cacilhas will host singer Áurea, performing an incredible show at 10:30 PM, followed by a fabulous fireworks display at midnight. The entertainment continues into 2025 with DJ Zanova! In Seixal, the lively concert by Toy will warm up the night, and at midnight, synchronized fireworks will light up the sky across all parishes.
In Montijo, the celebration will be a true sensory experience with the multimedia show IN LUMIS, projected on the facade of the Municipal Market. With special effects, music, and video mapping, the night promises to be a visual and auditory journey. At midnight, fireworks will illuminate the Riverside Front, making the entrance to 2025 even more memorable.
In Moita, get ready for a big party in a panoramic tent by the Marginal, featuring lively music, fireworks, and champagne to toast the arrival of the new year. The party will go on until dawn, ensuring an energy-filled celebration!
In Sesimbra, the festivities will be lively and unique, with street music and fireworks. The highlight of the night will be the Aquatic New Year's Eve, where the number “2025” will shine in the sea, in front of Largo da Marinha. A magical start to the year with an unforgettable view!
Finally, Setúbal offers two party stages. At the Praia da Saúde – Rockalot stage, the sounds of Jorge Nice will energize the crowd, while at the Doca dos Pescadores stage, the bands The Gift and DJ Tó Patronilho will keep the crowd entertained. And, as expected, a spectacular fireworks show at midnight will light up Setúbal and celebrate the arrival of 2025.
