During his remarks, President Rebelo de Sousa shared, "I had something written here, but I don't know if the Minister of State and Foreign Affairs authorizes me to say, but I believe this has been approved. They mentioned the idea of creating seven new consulates, including five in Brazil.”

The President humorously sought confirmation from Minister Paulo Rangel, indicating a collaborative atmosphere in discussing this initiative. He also mentioned the possibility of opening a consulate in Recife, highlighting the importance of this development for the Portuguese community.
