Weather Warnings Across Portugal

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has issued a yellow warning for 12 districts in Portugal due to severe weather conditions. 10 districts are under alert for maritime agitation, while 2 districts face warnings for snowfall.

The affected districts include Porto, Faro, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja, Aveiro, Coimbra, and Braga. The warnings will be in effect until midnight on Sunday, with expected waves from the west/northwest reaching 4 to 5 meters.

Additionally, the districts of Guarda and Castelo Branco are under a yellow warning until 3 PM today. The snowfall is predicted to occur above 1400/1600 meters, with accumulations exceeding 5 to 10 cm at elevations over 1600 meters.
