Air traffic has been suspended at Eindhoven Airport, the second largest airport in the Netherlands, due to a 'network interruption'. According to the Dutch news agency ANP, there is currently no estimate for when the issue will be resolved. The airport issued a statement indicating, "Due to a network interruption, air traffic is not possible at Eindhoven Airport. It is still unclear when the problem may be resolved."
In a social media post, the airport mentioned that the cause is under investigation and that efforts are being made to find a solution. Further details about the nature of the problem have not been disclosed.
As reported by AFP, this IT issue is also affecting other public services in the Netherlands, including the coast guard and military police. Flights scheduled for this morning to and from destinations such as Manchester, Rome, Tenerife, and Seville are listed as suspended or delayed on the Eindhoven Airport website. Additionally, a flight from Eindhoven to Lisbon, which was supposed to arrive at 09:40, has no arrival time indicated on the ANA Airports website.
