The launch event will feature Ângelo Pereira, the councilor responsible for Animal Welfare and Protection, who emphasizes the importance of treating animals as family members, ensuring they live happy, safe, and loved lives.

Carlos Moedas, the Mayor of Lisbon, supports this initiative, stating that animal welfare is essential for a harmonious and inclusive city. He highlights ongoing investments in this area and expresses the city's commitment to caring for its animals.

From now on, Lisbon residents can access various services and information related to animal care through a single online platform. This includes resources from:

  • Casa dos Animais de Lisboa
  • LXCras – Wildlife Recovery Center
  • Quinta Pedagógica dos Olivais
  • Municipal Animal Ombudsman

Additionally, the portal will provide updates on lost and found animals, as well as important tips and suggestions for pet owners. Lisboa.Pet aims to integrate all contributions from public and private entities to create a collaborative approach to animal welfare.
