Known for their kaleidoscopic fusion of fantasy and reality, Empire of the Sun will be showcasing their first live performance in six years, featuring tracks from their latest album, Ask That God, which was released last summer.
Tickets for the Lisbon concert will go on sale starting Friday, priced between €40 and €45. According to the promoter, House of Fun, the new album signifies a new era for the band, blending imagination, sound exploration, and existential themes into a comprehensive auditory experience.
Following their performance in Lisbon, the duo, composed of Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore, will continue their tour across Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, and France, performing both solo and at festivals.
Empire of the Sun, formed in 2007 in Sydney, previously headlined the Super Bock Super Rock festival in 2010, near Praia do Meco in Sesimbra. Their discography includes hits like “Walking on a Dream,” “Alive,” and “We Are the People,” showcasing their unique sound across four albums.
