Prime Location and Design

Nestled strategically between Avenida dos Aliados and Rua de Santa Catarina, the Sofitel Porto aims to enhance the luxury hospitality landscape in this vibrant city, Portugal’s second-largest. The hotel will feature 132 elegantly designed rooms, extensive public spaces, and diverse dining options, potentially collaborating with renowned Portuguese chefs.

Emphasis on Green Spaces

In addition to luxurious interiors, the hotel will include designed green spaces, providing a natural oasis amidst the city's dynamic environment. The design, led by Lázaro Rosa-Violán, promises a sophisticated blend of Portuguese artistry and French refinement, preserving the building's original façade while celebrating Porto’s rich cultural heritage.

A Flagship for Luxury Hospitality

This project marks a significant step for Accor as it expands its luxury hospitality footprint in Porto. Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel Legend, expressed enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing its role in connecting Portugal and France through luxury experiences that reflect Porto's historical identity. The hotel is poised to become a flagship destination for international travelers and the local community alike.
