The Performers

José Cid, a pioneer of Portuguese rock and a celebrated singer-songwriter, will take the stage first at 9:30 PM. With a career spanning nearly 70 years, he is set to deliver a remarkable concert revisiting timeless hits such as A Lenda de El-rei D. Sebastião, Como o Macaco gosta de banana, and Um grande, grande amor (which won the RTP Song Festival in 1980). This special performance will last over two hours and will feature guest appearances, including a touch of Fado.

As the clock approaches midnight, the concert will culminate in the traditional countdown, followed by a breathtaking fireworks display over the Tejo River, marking the first moments of 2025.

The celebration continues with a performance by Mickael Carreira, a successful pop musician who has captivated audiences for 18 years. Known for his energetic music, he is expected to get the crowd dancing with his upcoming original album.
