Lisbon Bar Show 2025: Celebrating a Decade of Excellence
The Lisbon Bar Show has unveiled exciting plans for its 2025 edition, set to take place at the Hotel Locke Santa Joana in Lisbon. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Portugal's largest hospitality, restaurant, and hotel event, promising an unforgettable celebration with a special focus on Portuguese products.
With over 120 confirmed exhibitors, this edition aims to exceed expectations, offering "more and better" than the previous nine years. While national production takes center stage, diversity remains a key pillar, with participation from brands and professionals worldwide.
Highlights of the Event
One of the standout features will be the evolution of the alcohol-free bar concept, which gained prominence during last year's edition. This dedicated space will showcase a wide variety of non-alcoholic spirits, including alternatives to gins, tequilas, and other liquors, tapping into a growing market trend.
The event will also host the Iberian Bartenders Congress on May 20, from 1 PM to 8 PM. This platform for debate and networking will facilitate experience sharing among industry professionals, featuring speakers like Danil Nevsky (Indie Bartender), Antonio Naranjo (Especiarium), and more.
Throughout the two days, attendees can enjoy presentations from 30 renowned speakers, including Sebastian Atienza and Chef Mário Cruz, ensuring a wealth of knowledge and inspiration.
Competitions and Awards
As usual, the event will feature high-level competitions such as the Vintage Cocktail Competition and the Cachaça 51 Contest, bringing creativity and technique to the forefront. Additionally, the finalists for the Lisbon Bar Show Awards, recognizing the best in the industry across 11 categories, have been announced, with winners to be revealed at the closing ceremony on May 21 at 7:15 PM.
According to Alberto Pires, founder of the Lisbon Bar Show, this year is particularly special as they emphasize Portuguese products, professionals, and national innovation while maintaining a commitment to international diversity and quality. The goal is clear: to deliver the best edition yet.
Mark your calendars for the 2025 Lisbon Bar Show, happening on May 20 and 21, 2024, at the Meo Arena's Sala Tejo in Lisbon, from 12 PM to 8 PM.
