Earthquake Details
On Tuesday, a 5.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of São Miguel, in the Azores. The Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere reported that the quake occurred at 7:14 AM local time (8:14 AM in Lisbon). The epicenter was located approximately 25 kilometers south-southeast of Faial da Terra.
