The Algarve Winter Festival is set to conclude in Tavira at the Jardim do Sapal alongside the Gilão River on March 15th. This vibrant event promises a day filled with concerts, street food, a market, sports activities, and a play area for children. The festival will kick off at 11 AM and run until 6:30 PM. Among the highlights are performances by DIVAN at 1 PM and Angolan singer-songwriter Chalo Correia at 3 PM, who will take the audience on a musical journey through the rhythms of Luanda, influenced by the styles of the 60s and 70s.

For sports enthusiasts, the festival offers activities such as skateboarding in the garden, netball, and volleyball. Additionally, there will be a marketplace named “Artists & Fleas”.

Animal lovers can visit the Animal Adoption Corner, available from 11 AM to 4 PM, giving attendees the chance to meet and adopt new furry family members.

The event is free and is organized by the Clube de Tavira in collaboration with the Union of Parishes of Tavira and the Municipality of Tavira, inviting “the whole family, including those with four legs,” as there will also be animals available for adoption looking for new homes.
