Weather Update for Lisbon
The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts that sunshine will return to Lisbon this Saturday, just in time for the start of Spring.

After several days of gray skies and rain, residents can expect the sun to break through starting March 22 at 9:00 AM. By Tuesday, March 25, the likelihood of rain will significantly decrease, allowing people to leave their umbrellas at home. Temperatures are expected to range between 7°C and 18°C in the coming days.

However, until then, raincoats will still be necessary. This Thursday, March 20, the weather remains wet with persistent showers. The entire country is under a weather alert due to Storm Martinho, which brings strong winds, heavy rain, and rough seas. Lisbon, Leiria, and Setúbal are anticipated to be the most affected districts, according to Civil Protection.
