Shocking Crime in the Azores: Two Men Arrested for Homeless Man's Murder
The Judicial Police (PJ) have arrested two men, aged 41 and 45, suspected of murdering a 40-year-old homeless man in Ponta Delgada, Azores, while under the influence of synthetic substances. A third suspect is still at large.

According to the PJ, the alleged qualified homicide occurred on Wednesday morning. The victim was with the three aggressors in a publicly restricted area, illegally occupied by homeless individuals, where they consumed synthetic substances the night before the crime.
Motive Behind the Attack
The suspects believed that the victim intended to appropriate their belongings, which led to a coordinated assault. Armed with blunt and sharp instruments, they inflicted fatal injuries to the victim's torso, ultimately causing his death.
Both detained men are currently in preventive detention, and efforts are underway to locate the third suspect.
