This makes it the cheapest area in the country for purchasing property.

The top five cheapest municipalities are:

  1. Penamacor - €417/m²
  2. Góis (Coimbra) - €437/m²
  3. Sabugal (Guarda) - €441/m²
  4. Penacova (Coimbra) - €467/m²
  5. Nisa (Portalegre) - €467/m²
